Maple is designed to be a simple yet extensible logging library for Lua. It is inspired by WinstonJS, and thus, shares many of the same features, while being Lua-ified.

Maple has no dependencies, is written in pure Lua, and aims to be compatible across many runtimes. It also includes LuaCATS annotations for use with the Lua Language Server, providing in-depth documentation for Maple in your editor.
